Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Nights

Nottinghamshire

Food Manufacturing

£42,000

M-F, 9pm – 6am.

Let’s get one thing straight – you know food manufacturing like the back of your hand. You’re the person who sees a problem, grabs it by the horns, and fixes it without making a song and dance about it. You know what good looks like, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get there. And now, you’re ready for a new challenge.

Here’s the deal:

You’re working for a Food Manufacturer who doesn’t just want to be good; they want to be exceptional. That’s where you come in.

We need a Continuous Improvement Specialist who’s all about finding better, smarter ways to make things happen in the factory. Someone who’s not afraid to dig into the data, challenge the status quo, and make things safer, more efficient, and ultimately, better for everyone involved.

What you’ll be doing:

Making continuous improvement the norm: Whether it’s 5S, SMED, or Lean Six Sigma, you know how to apply these tools to drive improvement and get results. You’ll lead the charge, from project planning to hitting those KPIs.

Leading from the front: You’ll be working with cross-functional teams – Production, Technical, Hygiene, Engineering – to embed the best practices that drive manufacturing excellence. And when things need to change, you’ll be the one coaching the team to make it happen.

Getting your hands dirty with data: You’ll be analysing the numbers, spotting the trends, and turning them into actionable insights that make a real difference to the bottom line.

Being a role model: Not in the “look at me” way, but in the “this is how we get things done right” way. You’ll be the one who sets the tone, challenges unsafe behaviour, and works with the team to raise the bar.

What you’ll need:

  • A track record in food manufacturing.
  • Ideally a Lean Six Sigma Belt or an equivalent continuous improvement qualification.
  • IT Skills. If you can’t navigate Microsoft Office with your eyes closed, this might not be for you.
  • A nose for numbers. You can spot a pattern in a spreadsheet faster than most people can make a cup of tea.
  • People skills. You know how to bring teams together and get everyone working towards the same goal. You’re also not afraid to have the tough conversations when needed.

Next Steps?

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re after, hit apply. Let’s have a confidential conversation and see where it takes us.
