About the Quality Manager job

Ensure the factory's Quality Assurance and Food Safety Systems are upheld to the highest standards. Oversee compliance with quality, safety, and legal requirements at every stage by working closely with all teams and ensure all internal and external standards are met before products reach customers. Inspect procedures, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Key tasks

• Ensure the Quality & Food Safety System, policies, and procedures meet safety, legality, and quality standards, and enforce hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Lead BRC and external audits, ensuring the site is always audit-ready, while conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
• Oversee assessments of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products, making decisions on acceptance or rejection, and provide technical advice on supplier relations and product quality improvements.
• Train, develop, and audit Quality & Food Safety procedures, while maintaining communication between departments, handling external visits, and acting as a HACCP team member to drive food safety standards.

About You

• A degree or equivalent in Food Science or a related subject is desirable.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Manager or Technical role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Level 3 in Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours with flexibility.
