Hours: Monday – Friday,

Week One: 06:00-14:00

Week Two: 08:00-16:00

Overtime: 1 weekend in 4, paid at £26p/h.

Tired of the same old planning job where you’re buried in spreadsheets and just a cog in the machine? This one’s different.

We need a Production Planner who can balance sales, technical, and production demands like a pro. You’ll be the one making sure everything flows in the factory, both in Low Risk and High Risk areas, and handling processed and boxed stock like a juggler on a tightrope. Oh, and don’t forget about those ever-changing customer specs. They’ll keep you on your toes.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

• Keeping sales, technical, and production teams singing from the same hymn sheet.
• Working with Production Managers to make sure you’ve got the right resources for the plan.
• Managing stock like a hawk and questioning any funny numbers.
• Scrutinising incoming orders against forecasts—because who needs surprises?
• Adjusting the plan on the fly, because change is the only constant.
• Getting clued up on new products, spec changes, and promotions, and figuring out how they’ll mess with the plan (because they will).
• Helping out on projects that push you outside your comfort zone.
• Training up on all things planning, because we’re big on development.
• And, because we’re human, covering holiday shifts for your teammates.

What do we need from you? If you’re organised to a fault, confident, and a stickler for detail, you’ll fit right in. You’ll need to be handy with numbers, know your way around a computer, and be cool with juggling competing deadlines. Basically, we need someone who can keep calm and carry on when everything's kicking off.
