Hygiene Supervisor

I am looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to oversee hygiene and cleanliness at a production facility in Cambridgeshire. You’ll report to the QA Manager and be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas while supervising a small team of Hygiene Operatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Allocating duties based on the Hygiene Plan and ensuring work to a high standard is maintained.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans.
• Preparing for and supervising BRC and Customer Audits.
• Training and developing Site Hygiene Operatives.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP, and hygiene policies.
• Managing chemical handling, safety protocols, and PPE use.
• Overseeing the daily pest control program.

What they are looking for:

• Experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or Team Leader in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong people management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and COSHH regulations.
• Willingness to attend relevant training courses, including Food Safety.
