The Company.
Are you passionate about science, quality, and making an impact within the food sector? This is a great opportunity to join a leading food and nutrition business in a newly created position within a rapidly expanding SME business who are owned and have the backing of a large well-known food business.
The Role.
The business seeks a technical and regulatory affairs specialist with a strong technical aptitude and dedication to quality. You will be the bridge between the business’s suppliers and internal teams, ensuring product information is accurately documented and maintained to support business growth. The role will support quality management by maintaining data integrity and facilitating the distribution of technical product information across the organisation. Reporting to a technical manager, you’ll be a key part of a quality-driven team, helping the business meet the growing demands of thier global customer base.
Key Responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Customers on technical and product-related queries.
- Prepare and complete customer questionnaires on product specifications and details.
- Manage product documentation repositories and develop best practices.
- Provide essential product quality documentation to customers.
- Optimize processes to scale technical capabilities alongside our expanding business.
- Stay informed on EU food regulations and dietary supplement regulations to support Business Development, New Product Development (NPD), and customer interactions.
People Profile.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Nutraceuticals, or related fields.
- Solid experience within a similar technical role, ideally within a B2B food ingredients or a related industry.
- High proficiency in data management and presentation tools
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with data and process optimization.
- Curiosity: Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
- Communication: Skilled in verbal, written, and visual communication.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think ahead and build effective relationships.
- Flexibility and Creativity: Adaptive approach to problem-solving.
- Integrity and Reliability: Trustworthy in handling sensitive information.
