Raw Materials Technologist

A new role requiring a particular set of skills....with a prominent UK food business offering a range of products to their customers.

As the Raw Materials Technologist and your key duties will ensure that all ingredients and suppliers meet all safety, legal, customer and Business's requirements.

You will proactively manage the approved ingredient suppliers by using risk assessments and develop corrective action strategies to maximise supplier supplier performance and suitability.

The business is looking for a technically talented candidate with a sound knowledge of the technical systems and supplier co-ordinating/raw materials.

You will be required to have UK food manufacturing experience, knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and exposure to BRCGS and retailers systems would be advantageous.

Food Technology/Food Science or related degree is desirable.

Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff, customers and suppliers.
The position will suit a forward thinking and affable individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering and with good organisational skills.
