Health and Safety Officer (Part-time, 24 hours)

£37000 - £42000 (pro rata)



I am working with an established food manufacturing company who are looking to add an experienced Health and Safety Officer to their team.



This is a dual-site role, with around an 80-20 split in terms of base location (both in Gloucestershire). The role is 24 hours per week, and this can be done across three, four or five days.



Responsibilities

• Promote a positive health & safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and minimise risks.
• Manage the Environmental and Safety Management System.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and ensure completion of site management actions.
• Lead risk assessments and accident/incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with RIDDOR and other legislation.
• Train H&S representatives and maintain up-to-date H&S knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience: Risk assessments, accident investigation, H&S supervision, and environmental responsibilities.
• Full UK Driving License
• Working Hours: 24 hours, made up flexibly across 3-5 days
