About the Production Supervisor job

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the Low-Risk production area to meet or exceed all performance standards, working with other departments to develop an efficient and effective production team.

Key tasks

• Managing the Low-Risk team ensuring they are all properly resourced, trained, and motivated to deliver safe, high-quality products to customers.
• Meet and, where possible, exceed production targets, making sure that the weekly production and efficiency targets for the factory are met without compromising on quality.
• Understand and ensure, through all possible channels, that the quality of products is maintained to meet quality production specifications. Monitoring and reflecting upon poor quality complaints and making changes where necessary.
• Meet Company standards on food safety and hygiene, whilst working within Company policies and procedures.

About You

• Experience of working in a production environment particularly with meat products within food manufacturing.
• Previous management/supervisory responsibilities are essential.
• Excellent working knowledge of food production machinery and equipment.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.
