Specifications Technologist - Hybrid

Are you an experienced Specifications Technologist with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in food manufacturing? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing businesses in a permanent role. This position offers hybrid working.

As a Specifications Technologist, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining detailed product specifications, ensuring they meet legal requirements and customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with the NPD (New Product Development), Quality, and Production teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive specifications for all products. Your role will also involve liaising with retailers to understand and meet their specification needs, reviewing and updating existing product specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The position requires a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently in a home-based setting. You will need to manage your time effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards in all your work. Strong communication skills will be crucial, as you will be regularly working with cross-functional teams and external retailers.

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in writing retail product specifications within the food manufacturing sector. You should be highly organised, with an ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy.

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum. In return, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a home-based role while gaining valuable experience with one of the country's most successful food businesses.
