Salary:                 Up to £80,000 + Package

The Company

Our client is an established, multisite food manufacturing business which, following a period of significant investment, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can drive performance and efficiencies.

It’s a big, fast-paced, state of the art facility offering a great environment and you’ll be a key part of the senior team working to drive performance and cultural change.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for all operational activities across the site. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the day-to-day production activities, from intake through to dispatch, ensuring all targets and customer requirements are met.
• Analysing performance, identifying and implementing new and improved ways of working.
• Leading, motivating, and coaching your team to ensure they’re fully equipped to perform well and ensure succession planning for the future.
• Ensuring a safety-first culture, so all activities are carried out in line with H&S legislation.

• Proactive approach to problem solving and experience of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
