Technical Assistant

Our client is a rapidly growing company in the food and drink industry, recognized for their commitment to quality and innovation. As part of their ambitious expansion plans, they are looking for a passionate and dedicated Technical Assistant to join the team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across all facets of the technical spectrum in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supplier Management: Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, managing queries and ensuring clear communication.
-Customer Support: Address and resolve any technical queries or concerns from customers, maintaining high standards of service.
-Specification Management: Ensure all product specifications within the assigned category are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
-Team Support: Assist the Technical Manager and broader technical team with tasks and projects as required.
-Audit Participation: Be present and actively involved during internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation and follow-up actions.
-Customer Relationships: Maintain and nurture strong, professional relationships with customers, building trust and rapport.

Key Requirements:

-Experience: Previous experience in a technical role within the food and drink industry is essential.
-Education: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
Skills:
-Strong communication skills to effectively manage supplier and customer relationships.
High level of organization and attention to detail, particularly in specification management.
-Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the food industry.
Passion: A genuine interest and passion for the food and drink sector, with a commitment to excellence.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
