Protea Recruitment is working with a well-known Food Manufacturer near Glasgow, which is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. Our client has experienced impressive growth over the past few years, and produces an extensive range of products, supplying to major retailers.   

Minimum Requirements:

• Quality Management Food Manufacturing experience is essential Experience working with companies that have supplied major retailers Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems

• Manage both QA and Hygiene teams to ensure all quality and food safety checks are carried out in accordance to procedures, as well as ordering hygiene products Manage training and development programs to ensure all employees are well-versed in all systems (QMS Procedures)
• Maintain site management systems, procedures, and protocols, in support of the Technical Manager, to ensure that production activities remain in line with legislative requirements.
• Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor QMS effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives Prepare and participate in external audits by regulatory agencies or third-party auditors.
