Collaborate with Technical and NPD teams to create and maintain branded and own-label product specifications, ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements. Manage customer specifications and artwork generation, delivering all outputs accurately and on time.

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise with suppliers and customers to create and update product specifications.
• Manage specifications on online portals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Regularly review and maintain customer specification portals.
• Ensure accurate vegan society registration and associated documentation.
• Prepare pack copy specifications for new product launches and redesigns, adhering to critical paths.
• Review and approve artwork to meet deadlines.
• Create and maintain QAS and processing specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and assist in raw material specification maintenance.
• Support external and third-party audits by presenting relevant information.

Performance Measures:

• Meet critical path deadlines for product launches.
• Ensure accurate and timely specification submissions.
• Achieve “Right First Time” artwork approval.

Attributes:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• HND or higher in Food Science/Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in retailer web-based specification systems.
• Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
• HACCP Level 2 certification.

Special Requirements:

• Some local travel may be required; own transport is advantageous.
• Occasional travel to customer sites for consistency or benchmarking sessions.
