Specifications Technologist

We are recruiting for a Specifications Technologist to join a growing and innovative company based in Reading. Offering a salary of up to £37,000, this is a fantastic site-based opportunity for someone passionate about product excellence and eager to contribute to a team that values quality and collaboration.

In this role, you will be responsible for writing Product Specifications and approving artworks for major retailers and B2B customers. You will provide essential technical support to the company and its customers, ensuring high standards are met across all projects. Additionally, you'll assist in maintaining company policies in line with new legislation and customer requirements and ensure any changes are communicated to the team.

You will analyse new products for nutrition and shelf life, complete Quality Attribute sheets, and ensure technical documentation is submitted within agreed timescales. Attending sensory reviews to assess product quality and compliance with standards will also be part of your role. You will help maintain technical information on Unity for all products.

You will need specification writing experience within UK food manufacturing.
