The business is looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead and optimise operations, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and efficiency.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this establish and growing branded food and beverage business who manufacturer and supply a range of high quality branded and own label products to the major multiples. The Role.

The Operations Director will oversee the entire operations function, ensuring our day-to-day processes are efficient, sustainable, and scalable. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain management, production, inventory control, and customer fulfilment. You’ll be responsible for implementing processes that align with our B-Corp values while driving profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operations department, including supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Optimise production processes for cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with B-Corp standards, ethical sourcing, and sustainability goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies for operational scalability, supporting business growth.
  • Implement robust inventory management and order fulfilment systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, technology integration, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.

Person Profile

You’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, a proven leader with a deep understanding of operations within the food & beverage industry. Your passion for sustainability, combined with your operational expertise, will makes you an ideal fit for this progressive business.

  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, ideally in the food & beverage or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations, managing cross-functional teams, and optimizing processes.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, production, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs.
