Technical Manager

​​​​​​This technical manager role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technical compliance, quality management, and customer engagement for the business.  The role will form a key part of the sites management team and will be critical in maintaining and improving the sites food safety and quality standards

Job specifics.

• Oversee all aspects of the quality management system including the pre-requisite programs.
• Provide guidance to staff on food safety, legality, quality and authenticity
• Lead the HACCP team, verify CCPs, complete HACCP review and validation
• Oversee all third party audits and customer technical visits.
• Specification preparation, review and sign off.
• Promote a positive culture of food safety by mentoring team members on best practice,  and maintaining audit ready standards at site. 
• Managing QA personnel. 

Minimum Requirements.

To be considered for this role you will have at least 5 years, experience of working in a high care/risk chilled food manufacturing environment, to BRCGS standards.  You will possess qualifications in food safety, HACCP to at least level 3 (ideally level 4) and hold an internal audit qualification.   The business is fast paced and family run and you will be required to meet the needs of the business as and when required.
