Technical Regulatory Advisor (FTC - Maternity Cover)

The successful candidate will:

• Accurate maintenance of technical information from both external and internal sources to enable consistent and accurate response to customer requests in a timely way.
• Manage the completion of questionnaires, technical data sheets, customers’ own specifications/ information sheets.
• Create policy statements regarding LH position on products and standards compliance etc.
• Maintenance of Kosher and Halal certification, information and records, consulting with religious certifying bodies over matters where relevant, including audits and supervisions.
• Provide support in ensuring product compliance with global regulation.
• Assist in maintaining contact with external sources of information to keep LH current on regulatory matters.
• Review regulation changes, where relevant, understand the implications to business and provide constructive plans to manage changes.
• Provide guidance or advice on BOP & FOP (back/front of pack) labelling where required. Please note this is a fixed term contract for 12- months.

Essential criteria for this position are:

• Graduate in Food Science and Nutrition or equivalent
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and Adobe
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the business and customers.
• Experience of working in a technical department, ideally from food / flavour industry environment (desirable)
