About the Technical Managers role

As the Technical Manager, your role encompasses the oversight of all aspects of technical compliance, quality management, and customer engagement within the business.

In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in supporting third-party audits and ensuring internal audit management aligns seamlessly with the company’s ethos of being “audit ready every day.” Furthermore, you will oversee the site HACCP and QMS systems, guaranteeing that all products are produced in a manner that is both safe and legally compliant, thereby upholding the integrity of the business and protecting customer trust.

We welcome applicants at all levels, from candidates stepping into a managerial role to highly experienced Technical Managers. Salaries typically range from £40,000 to £75,000 per year.

Typical Key tasks

• Manage and direct a team of Quality and Technical personnel.
• Help with site audits and trials, specifications and responses to complaints.
• Implement changes to site procedures to improve Technical standards.
• Create an environment of continuous improvement within the team.

A client may look for

• Degree educated in a food science or related subject.
• Technical management experience within a food manufacturing environment (where applicable).
• A minimum level 3 in Food Safety and HACCP.
• BRCGS experience and knowledge.
