Join a leading food manufacturing company specialising in the production of flavourings and seasonings. We are seeking a Technical Compliance Officer to become an integral part of our clients Technical Team at our Clevedon site. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive outlook and a task-focused approach.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Write and develop company systems and procedures in line with BRCGS, M&S, and customer requirements.
• Serve as the technical key contact for the factory, addressing technical issues and queries.
• Manage customer contacts, queries, and investigations.
• Oversee the management of the Pest Control Contractor.
• Support internal and procedure audits.
• Log and investigate non-conformances.
• Manage Halal, Kosher, and Sedex certification.
• Handle raw material supplier management.
• Undertake special projects related to site-specific issues.
• Assist in managing raw material data and specification within procedure compliance.
• Provide support in writing company and customer specifications ensuring procedure compliance.
• Conduct emergency QC lab testing as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Competence in Microsoft Office and Outlook, including Word and Excel.
• HND or degree (or equivalent) in Food Science / Technology or a related field.
• GCSE or equivalent at Grade B or above in Maths and English.
• Previous experience in a similar technical compliance role.
• Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work.
• Full Right to Work in the UK.
• Full Clean Driving Licence.
