You're already excelling in procurement or planning, driving improvements in processes and strategies, but now you're looking for something more—an opportunity to combine your expertise and make a real impact.

Push your limits as the Head of Supply of an established ingredients manufacturer. Being a hybrid between planning and procurement, it will see you focus on aligning purchasing with production schedules and negotiating commodity pricing and everything in between.

However, this isn’t just about keeping things running—it’s about stepping into a leadership role where you can put your stamp on procurement strategy and planning processes. It’s a chance to lead and innovate, balancing short-term priorities with long-term transformational projects.

It’s a big task that will see you working closely with the Ops Director to invigorate and energise the team to make the changes the business are keen to make.

Being part of a small, dedicated team comes with its unique challenges, but you’ll also benefit from being part of a much larger international group, offering opportunities for long-term career growth and development.

The Business

The business is longstanding within the heart of the community and has been operational for around 150 years!

Despite not supplying directly to the shelves of your favourite retailer, they supply some of the biggest names in the food sector and are in several of your household brands.

The location of the site is idyllically nestled away overlooking the River Stour estuary, don’t let it fool you! The site has fantastic train line connections, being able to step off the train into site and is a little over an hour from London.

Here’s What You’ll Need

To succeed within this challenge, you’ll need to be an established Planning Manager, Procurement Manager or Supply Chain Manager.

This will combine with your background within the food manufacturing sector or other relevant manufacturing industry that will ideally showcase your knowledge of commodity markets.

Delivering improvements will also be nothing new to you and you’ll know your way around a good system, preferably SAP or similar MRP system.
