This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Site Engineering Lead to join the senior leadership team at a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will lead the engineering function, driving improvements in operational efficiency and delivering transformational change in line with strategic goals.

The Role:

As Site Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the site’s engineering operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing automation and mechatronics solutions to support long-term growth and operational excellence.
• Leading the engineering team to deliver improved OEE, optimise processes, and ensure sustained performance improvements.
• Managing budgets, spare parts, and engineering projects to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Building and developing a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, driving buy-in for strategic initiatives.
• Utilising best practices and lessons learned from internal and external sources to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent), or extensive Engineering Management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Proven expertise in automation and/or mechatronic within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with a track record of delivering change and improvement.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a strong drive to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Advanced IT skills, including proficiency with Excel and other project management tools.
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude aligned with the company’s values.
