Technical Manager

Technical Manager - c£50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Overview: This food manufacturing business has outstanding processes and procedures in place and a customer service level to be extremely proud of. That said they can do better, and this is where this role comes in.

The Senior Team on site are in touch with everything that happens in the factory and are well thought of by the shop floor staff.

Requirements:

As Technical Manager, you will need to have Technical Management or QA Management experience within a food manufacturing background to be successful.  This will probably be working in a technical or quality role who can demonstrate strong leadership skills along with compliance of the factory; compliance experience is therefore also required. 

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to be office based as most of the time you will be in the factory working with the teams ensuring the site is compliant. You will be strong willed and understand the detail.

This is a day-based role but with flexibility as food manufacturing is not a 9 to 5 role Monday to Friday.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to be a Technical Manager of a food manufacturing business who are a major player in their sector and who supply the major retailers with their products.

Your time will be spent in the factory supporting all departments ensuring that the factory is compliant in all they do.

Your success will be measured on results and that could be improving customer service, improving ways of working that gets better results and the team become more aware of compliance and starting to make improvements that they have seen for themselves.
