Senior Production Manager

Senior Production Manager - West Sussex  - Salary: c£75,000 DOE plus benefits 

Overview: We’re looking for a Production Manager to join a well-established food manufacturer who are incredibly busy and projected to double their turnover in the next five years!

You will need to be quite a hands-on Production Manager; this isn’t a desk-based role this is very much on the factory floor with the team.  

You’ll essentially be the soundboard between the team and the Directors.

The Candidate: 

• Proven Leadership skills in a Food Manufacturing environment, preferably protein and/or chilled food.  
• Dynamic approach to your work, not a sit back approach.  
• Track record of delivering strategic projects and managing costs effectively.
• Effective communicator with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Ability to deal with complexity and change, prioritise effectively, and deliver within short timescales.
• Analytical mindset.

The Role: 

• As the Production Manager you’ll have the support of the Operations Manager and Factory Manager.
• You’ll set targets and KPIs.
• Report to the Operations Director.
• You will develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture.
• They’ve just won a major new contract, you’ll be helping to ensure they can fulfil orders.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to enhance employee productivity.
• Simply put, it’s all about driving the business forward.
