Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the development and commercialisation of innovative packaging solutions, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance on packaging materials and specifications to improve performance and stability across our sites.
• Ensure compliance with quality, functionality, regulatory, and cost-effectiveness standards in packaging.
• Collaborate with other Packaging Technologists to share insights, best practices, and innovations.
• Act as the primary packaging contact at the site, managing development, trials, and updates.
• Coordinate and execute packaging trials on production lines, ensuring seamless integration of new materials and formats.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with packaging suppliers and external agencies, staying updated on industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a packaging or related technical role.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and in full.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills across various channels including meetings, presentations, and daily updates.
